Academic Awards Ceremony
Principal's PostMansfield Elementary PK-4 Students and Parents: It has been a very good year so far. I am overwhelmed by the parental support that you have extended to your children and to the faculty. During the month of October, we have had various events including Parent Workshops, Academic Awards, and the Fall Festival, and you have shown up in droves. You even sent can goods to help our Can Drive be a major success. You make this career a much easier one for me. I want you to know that the Teacher Advancement Program (TAP) is a wonderful asset to MES. Our very capable Master Teachers are doing a great job modeling lessons and helping teachers to track student progress. We just added Mrs. Malekah Salim-Morgan to the team, and she has hit the ground running. You children should be tracking their own progress and should be able to dialogue with you about it. Talk with them and ask how they are doing as it relates to the Grade Level Expectations (GLE’s). Finally, I want to continue to encourage you to get your child to school on time. School takes in at 7:45 A.M. and dismisses at 3:00 P.M. I want our students to succeed and protecting instructional time is a big part of that success. Mrs. Debbie Fuller, Principal |
